What is Cashew Nuts ?

 Cashews are often thought of as a type of cashew nut (cashew) eaten on its own, used in recipes, or made into cashew cheese or cashew butter. Like trees, cashews are often referred to simply as cashews. A cashew allergy is triggered by the proteins present in the nut, and cooking does not usually remove or change these proteins.

 In 2019, the global production of cashew nuts reached 4 million tons, of which Côte d’Ivoire and India were the main producers. In addition to nuts and fruits, this plant has other uses. Derivatives from cashew nut shells can be used in many applications, including lubricants, water repellents, paints, and the production of weapons since the Second World War. Cashew apple is a light red to yellow fruit. Its pulp and juice can be processed into sweet and astringent fruit drinks or fermented and distilled into wine.
